Family resources & Messy Church

Family resources & Messy Church

Collective Worship – Please join Rev Joe and Olivia for our weekly time of Collective Worship. This half term our value is Perseverance. Past videos can be found on our YouTube channel.

Messy Church – as we sadly can’t meet up for ‘fun, food, faith and fellowship’, our friends at BRF have put together monthly crafts, games and worship for you to undertake your own session at home! When you’ve done any of these activities please take a picture and share it to our Facebook page!

It’s wonderful that Claudia has produced two fantastic videos for you to undertake your own Messy Church activities at home! Superhero lollipops and sponge boats – how about giving them a go and sharing your finished creations on our Facebook page?!

Resources for families

One Way UK have collated a whole list of resources and sites to help families connect with God especially in this time of uncertainty and self-isolation. Head over to their website to check it out: www.onewayuk.com

On their page you will find many links to Facebook groups, videos, activities and worship for children of all ages. There is a whole wealth of sites including talking to your children about coronavirus and special prayers to say.

For those who want to undertake worship as a family but are unsure what to do, then we recommend Worship for Everyone (great videos of all-age worship, teaching and fun with Nick & Becky Drake) and Rend Collective (a social distance worship club from a great worship band!).

Lectionary based resources:

Roots on the Web – Weekly resources to enrich worship and learning (currently free to access).

Jesus Without Language – church at home printables, crafts and games.

Illustrated Ministry – free, weekly, faith formation resources for all-ages.
